I create pseudo-botanical shapes from industrial window screen material. Unique formations capture the curves of nature that begins with a process very much like Origami. Squares and triangles of wire screen
are folded with attention to symmetry, then followed by a sequence of bends, crimps and twists. The bright aluminum, charcoal aluminum and bronze components are assembled into a variety of flowers, foliage and spikes, then mounted on black wire stems. Candlelight will project these interesting shapes onto ceilings
and walls, creating a very pleasing ambiance.
