George Lightfoot -
George is a native of Kansas City, born in 1931 and now resides in Independence, Missouri. His father was an artist also; George has been drawing and painting since childhood. He began by learning from his father then continued taking courses throughout elementary school, high school and college.
He has continued his art education through individual study and by attending demonstrations and workshops conducted by well known artists. He has been showing and selling his art work in local shows, galleries and gift shops since 1979. George works in acrylic on canvas to create his original paintings. He has developed his own distinctive and recognizable style which has earned him many awards along with many satisfied customers and collectors of his paintings and prints.
