Carol Sweetwood -
"My love of photography led me to painting" states Carol. "We are surrounded every day by interesting
and beautiful things - we just need to take notice!" A self-taught artist, she has been painting a variety of subjects for the past six years. Pleasing florals, classic still life compositions and playful meadow scenes are created with oil on canvas, watercolor, colored pencil or acrylics. Based largely on realism, the constant in Carol's work is bold, rich color and dramatic contrast.
